Steve Murphy’s organisational skills in ensuring that all of his tradesmen arrived at the right time allowed for a perfect flow of work with no hold ups allowing the project to be completed on time and within budget. Steve visited us at home both before and after the building plans were finalised. He suggested we visit some recent properties where ASP Murphy had worked, which we did.

Our quotation was very detailed and broke down the costs for each part of the work with invoices to be paid at the satisfactory completion of each stage.

His team arrived on the agreed start day and were superb. They arrived before 8.00am every day and only stopped for short re-fuelling breaks. At the end of each day any waste was removed from the site and all the equipment and materials tidied and covered. Our rear garden could only be accessed via a narrow footpath so the foundations were dug by hand (in less than two days). The footpath is close to a local school and the builders made sure this was washed and swept each day.

All the building work, knock-through, windows, doors, wiring, plumbing and plastering was completed within SIX weeks – very impressive. All the tradesmen used by Steve all worked to a very high standard. Steve met with us at regular intervals to check we were happy and to discuss any minor alterations.

After completion any (small) snags were sorted quickly and considerately.

We are extremely happy with the finished build and couldn’t recommend Steve and ASP Murphy more highly. The work rate, workmanship, service and friendliness were all appreciated.
